The magnetic-inductive induQ® flow sensors of the VMM series are thanks to their robust design suitable for use in harsher ambient conditions. The steel fitting is fully welded and therefore very stable and insensitive to interference.
The available nominal diameters from DN 32 it's DN 200 cover measurement requirements for medium flow rates of up to 10 m/s. The large selection of high-quality materials provides for numerous application possibilities. Earth electrodes are available as an option. In addition, the VMM is available in both separate and compact design and is generally delivered with a calibration certificate. The electronic display allows customer-specific sensor configuration to meet the particular requirements on site..
VMM devices are the new addition to the diverse product group of magnetic-inductive flowmeters of the German manufacturer. They are characterized by high measurement accuracy from 0,5% and a solid welded steel body, which makes them extremely suitable for measuring electrically conductive liquids in harsh industrial conditions. Flowmeters of the VMM series contribute to the achievement of maximum performance and accuracy of measurements in water supply and wastewater treatment, in the food industry, in paper and pulp production, in biotech, pharmaceutical and chemical enterprises.
They produce in two varieties - compact and modular, and devet standard size - from DN 32 until DN 200. Thus, the flowmeters cover a wide measuring range of 0,72 m3/h to 1131 m3/h. The use of Teflon or hard rubber in the tube part of the device allows measurements in a wide temperature range from –20°C to +180°C. Joining the process is possible through all common flange connections – pipe outlets of the flowmeters are available in EN designs 1092-1 and ANSI B16.5.
All devices in the series have a pulse, current and alarm output and have protection class IP67.
