The KNX building automation communication protocol allows the user to connect new meters to existing building installations. Programming is carried out using specialized ETS software, universal for all KNX manufacturers. With its help, addresses are created, functions are assigned and each of the new elements of the system is parameterized. Data transmission and power supply to the devices is via a common two-wire system bus, made with standard TP cable. Active and reactive energy measurements are possible via the KNX module, tension, the flow, active, reactive and apparent power, power factor and frequency.
